ASOCIAŢIA ROMÂNÃ DE BALNEOLOGIE este o persoană juridică română, organizaţie non-guvernamentală, non-profit, apolitică cu preocupari sociale, profesionale şi economice privind cercetarea ştiinţifică, protecţia mediului, educaţia şi promovarea turismului balnear, având în centrul atenţiei sale factorii naturali terapeutici, constituită din specialişti din domeniul balneologiei, pe baza dreptului liber la asociere, în conformitate cu OG 26/2000, cu privire la asociaţii şi  fundaţii. 

Balneo and PRM Research Journal a fost re-inclusă în Nomenclatorul Publicațiilor Medicale agreate de Colegiul Medicilor din România, pentru anul 2023, fiind astfel printre publicațiile creditabile conform creditărilor CMR în vigoare. Se acordă 10 credite EMC pentru abonament la reviste din categoria A, conform Adresei nr. 3012 din 11.04.2023  PDFlink

Asociația Română de Balneologie este membru afiliat al Societății Internaționale de Hidrologie Medicală și Climatologie (ISMH). Astăzi, 19 Iulie 2023 la Sanatoriul Balnear și de Recuperare Techirghiol, cu sprijinul și prin implicarea Doamnei Conf. Univ. Dr. Olga Surdu, am semnat un acord de colaborare între Asociația Română de Balneologie și Asociația Medicală Italiană de Hidroclimatologie, Talasoterapie și Medicină Fizică, împreuna cu Domnul Președinte Prof. Fausto Bonsignori.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of FEMTEC President, Umberto Solimene, a remarkable individual and a cherished leader in the field of balneology. His loss is deeply felt by the Romanian Association of Balneology and by the entire balneology community worldwide.

President Umberto Solimene was not only an exceptional professional but also a person of extraordinary moral character, always ready to extend his support to others and foster collaboration and innovation. He was able to create synergies and drive forward new initiatives, leaving an indelible mark on the world of balneology, and we have had always his support.

The Romanian Association of Balneology mourns this significant and painful loss. At this sorrowful time, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to President Solimene's family. The Romanian Association of Balneology remains committed to continuing his work and advancing the field of balneology in his honor.

May President Umberto Solimene's soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory inspire all those involved in the world of balneology.

The Faculty of Medical Bioengineering’s mission is to contribute to a high quality learning and research in the biomedical field by promoting academic programs and research as a result of Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy’s goals and politics as well as its mission and objectives.  

Thus, our faculty contributes to the raising of the standard of quality in the health care system in Romania. To achieve this goal, the Faculty of Medical Bioengineering aims to:  

• promote quality and efficiency in education;  
• shape the personality and development of student’s creative skills;  
• advance continuous development of scientific research, international standards and assert scientific performance of the academic community;  
• integrate itself in national and international academic networks based on performance criteria and complementarity;  
• develop partnerships with businesses, local government or national institutions and international organizations.
